The treatment uses a unique injectable dermal filler product that consists of Poly- L-Lactic Acid, which is a sugar polymer with a long history of medical use. Through a series of treatments, typically about three sessions over a few months, the dermal filler is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles and to restore the support and volume of skin, with results that that can last up to two years. The treatment can be used on the face and body.

DLK’s Collagen Induction Injectable Treatment takes place in a medically supervised clinic after a consultation. During the consultation, patients can outline their specific concerns and skin care goals and a suitable treatment approach will be discussed. A customized treatment program will be developed, and each patient’s individual concerns and goals will be met.
During the treatment, the dermal filler will be injected beneath the skin using a needle, and the injection site will be massaged to make sure the Poly-L-Lactic Acid is appropriately distributed in the treatment area. This product also includes lidocaine (a local anesthetic) to ensure a comfortable treatment. Treatments take approximately 30 minutes with minimal recovery and little-to-no downtime. Most patients will require 2-3 treatments, scheduled approximately 4-6 weeks apart.
Collagen Induction Injectable Post-Treatment:
Treated areas may be slightly swollen and red following the procedure, but these effects generally disappear within a few hours to a day. It is recommended that the patient return two weeks after treatment for a follow-up appointment to ensure that the results are optimal. You will be given specific post-care instructions to adhere to at the time of your treatment.It is important that the amount of movement or sleeping on the area injected be minimized for the next 48-72 hours (e.g. minimize smoking and/or drinking from a straw, sleep on your back). Treated areas might be numb, swollen, firm, bruised or sore for a few days.
